Peer Supporter Training for
Adult Survivors Of Childhood Sexual Abuse:

Survivors of Abuse Recovering (S.O.A.R.)

S.O.A.R. is a community-based, volunteer, charitable organization that offers one-on-one peer support and group support services to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and provides public education to the community. S.O.A.R. is currently active in Hants, Kings and Annapolis counties.  We welcome interest from other regions.

Would you like to help?This fall, S.O.A.R. is offering a free 18-week peer support training for adults of all genders who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse and who have progressed sufficiently in their recovery that they feel able to assist others in healing. To register, phone or email no later than September 20th, 2011.  Location and time will be provided at screening.
